About Sherry-Lynn
Sherry-Lynn Squitti (she/her) MA, AT, RCC, is a Registered Clinical Counsellor & Registered Clinical Supervisor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors Registration # 8711. She has been providing counselling and family services for over 30 years.
Sherry-Lynn has worked extensively as a child and youth and family therapist, has worked as an outreach clinician for pre and postnatal care, as well as lead the infant and early childhood mental health program with Vancouver Coastal Health which qualifies her with the skills necessary to work with children and youth 0-19 years of age.
Through her experience working within the Ministry of Children and Family Development and Coastal Health, Sherry –Lynn was instrumental in developing family services programs as well as raising the quality of mental health programs across the province of BC. She created opportunities for children, youth and families to engage in attachment and trauma informed practices that promote connection to self and others. Her belief in the power of the individual to create change through the creative process has effectively influenced the lives of the families she has served.
Sherry-Lynn has been described as compassionate, empathetic, supportive, attuned, and knowledgeable.

Sherry-Lynn is also a certified counsellor with the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP). The Crime Victim Assistance Program offers financial assistance to help with some of the costs and services needed to assist in recovering from or coping with the effects of violence/crime. Sherry-Lynn is also a certified counsellor with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) The First Nations Health Authority provides financial assistance for health and wellness services for status First Nations people living across BC. Contact FNHA to register to see if you can access counselling funding through FNHA. If you are registered, the counselling fee for a session with Sherry-Lynn could be directly billed to CVAP, at no cost to the client.
Sherry-Lynn is also a certified Clinical Supervisor for the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Sherry-Lynn has supervised clinicians in a variety of settings, is trained in several modalities, and has taught art therapy internationally.
